Peninsula Health is currently seeking an experienced highly motivated team player to join its busy Pay Office on a limited term part time basis.

The Payroll Clerk is able to work under pressure to strict deadlines and is responsible for ensuring the day to day functioning of the Department is well organised and time and resources are managed efficiently and effectively.

Department Summary
The Pay Office is involved with the payment of approximately 5000 employees and manages all aspects of the payroll, including data timesheet entry, terminations, leave management, personnel files maintenance, superannuation, deductions etc.

Key Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to facilitate the day to day operations of the Payroll Department
• Ensure a high level of customer service is delivered at all times.
• Present a professional image and ensure strict confidentiality is maintained at all times.
• Be accountable for own performance and seek to expand personal skill levels to ensure a timely completion of Certificate.
• Promote positive relationships and public relations both within and outside Peninsula Health.

Essential Criteria
• Commitment to providing quality customer service
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to plan and organise own work
• Basic typing skills
• Basic Knowledge and skills in MS office
• Willingness to maintain and advance knowledge relevant to the position
• Ability to take direction and seek assistance when/as required
• Available to work flexibility hours if required
• SAP Payroll experience would be an advantage, however not essential
