What You Will Be Doing

You will be working closely with the gastroenterology AP and BP Trainees on rotation to share the registrar responsibilities of the unit. This includes daily ward rounds of the gastroenterology inpatients, providing a consultation service to other unit in the hospital, attending outpatient clinics (general clinic, inflammatory bowel clinic and endoscopy clinic) and liaising with clinical services such as the Infusion Centre and endoscopy services. Involvement with the unit educational and audit activities is expected, including activities such as journal club, multidisciplinary meetings, morbidity and mortality meetings and unit research activities.
This position includes rostered after hours and weekend on call, supported by the consultant gastroenterologists.>

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• MBBS or equivalent
• Eligible for registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
• Have successfully completed the RACP Written and Clinical Exam
• Valid drivers license issued by an Australian state or territory
