Position Summary

We are looking for skilled, passionate and dynamic Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to work in Limited Term Nurse Pool and Casual Nurse Bank positions!

Our committed team in the Workforce Bureau allocates dedicated, reliable and experienced Nurses across 90+ shifts daily, to meet the demands of a multi specialised hospital. The Team allocates nursing staff to acute health services based across Frankston and Rosebud Hospitals, Rehabilitation, Aged and Palliative Care Services, Mental Health programs, fully integrated inpatient and community based services, and Community Health services.

The Recruitment Coordinators within the Workforce Bureau partner with Nurse Unit Managers to attract, retain and develop Nurses on their behalf for casual, limited term and permanent contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document comprehensive nursing care within the area in accordance with evidence based best practice standards and Peninsula Health Values.
• Ensure the safety of the public, patients and staff in relation to the provision of a safe environment from both OH&S and Infection Control Perspectives.
• Complete all mandatory training as per hospital policy and participate in organised training and development activities.
• Assist in the orientation of new staff and the supervision and instruction of students.

Essential Criteria

• Current Nursing registration with AHPRA
• Proven experience in your chosen specialty area (see above list)
• Right to work in Australia
• Ability to work across all Peninsula Health Sites (4 main campuses - Rosebud, Mornington, Golf Links Road and Frankston)
• Availability to work in accordance with a 7 day rotating roster
• Availability to work a minimum of 1 shift per month (for casual employment)

Selection Criteria Essential: Are you a Registered/ Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration and completion of a graduate year or equivalent experience?
Essential: Do you have Australian Citizenship, hold permanent residency status or a valid Working Visa without Restrictions? If yes, please specify the details of your Citizenship or Visa. e.g. 'Permanent Visa, Subclass 155 no conditions/restrictions' or 'I am an Australian citizen'
Essential: Do you hold Current Victorian Drivers License (inherent requirement of position is to work across all sites)?
Essential: Can you demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills that commensurate with experience and scope of practice in your chosen specialty?
