Peninsula Health is seeking a dedicated, dynamic and flexible Physiotherapist to join our acute team. We are a large and friendly department that offers many professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.

This position requires skills and experience in providing physiotherapy services to a varied acute caseload (predominantly general medicine). The successful applicant will be well supported by experienced senior clinicians who are committed to supporting development of clinical and non-clinical skills in this role.

The successful applicant will enjoy working in an integrated, multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on patient centered care. Experience in staff and student supervision will be highly regarded and excellent time management, communication and a versatile clinical skill set are essential.

Selection Criteria Essential: Registration with the National Physiotherapy Registration Board (AHPRA)
Essential: Able to competently and autonomously perform high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and patient management, including thorough and appropriate discharge planning for a variety of acute in-patients.
Essential: Capacity to provide clinical supervision to junior physiotherapy staff and students
Essential: Developing leadership skills
Essential: Demonstrated commitment to professional development
