Position Summary
We are seeking 2 Advisors to join our People & Culture Team!

The People & Culture Advisor reports to the Manager Employee Relations & Business Partnerships and has a close working relationship with the People & Culture Business Partners, who partner with line managers across the organisation to facilitate the achievement of operational goals.

The Advisor is a key member of the Employee Relations (ER) team and provides guidance, support and timely advice on aspects of HR which relate to the employer/employee relationship and the day to day application of the organisations polices, practices and industrial agreements.

Additionally, the People & Culture Advisor has close relationships with the wider Human Resources function which incorporates: Recruitment, Selection & Onboarding; Maintaining Employee Records and Compliance; Occupational Health and Safety; Employee Wellbeing and Organisational Development.

Key Responsibilities
• Work in accordance with legislation and organisational policies and procedures including Enterprise Agreements, occupational health and safety and equal employment opportunity.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and friendly manner.
• Build and expand personal skill levels to ensure that clients receive the best possible service reflecting up to date professional practice.
• Ensures services are optimally delivered in the most appropriate setting in a timely manner and meeting key performance targets.
• Build and maintain positive workplace behaviours and relationships.

Essential Criteria
• Previous experience in a HR Advisor role
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field or working toward it
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Highly developed organisation, communication and interpersonal skills Previous experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements
