Position Summary Peninsula Health is offering an exciting opportunity in seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Infusion Centre/Hospital in the Home team. This part-time Registered Nurse will work in the Infusion Centre and in the Hospital in the Home Unit.
The Infusion Centre delivers a range of same day services such as blood and iron infusions, medication infusions, minor procedures and trialing of void. The service operates 0800 – 1630 from Monday to Friday and is closed on weekends and public holidays. The infusion Centre has a capacity of 8 recliner chairs and 4 beds plus seating capacity for transiting patients if required.
The Hospital in the Home Registered Nurse (Grade 3B) works in either the patients home, residential care facility or other community setting as a sole practitioner to maintain the continuum of acute inpatient care. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role co-ordinates and provides an expert clinical service at an advanced level, in line with relevant standards, guidelines and policies of Peninsula Health.
