What You Will Be Doing
The Grade 1 Pharmacist is rostered to the operational services relating to the COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic, to participate in vaccine preparation, as well as other medication supply and stock management functions. The pharmacist also participates in all aspects of service provision and supervision of nurses, Pharmacy technicians and students in the preparation of the COVID-19 Vaccine.
The Grade 2 Pharmacist performs all roles and responsibilities of a Grade 1 pharmacist, and in addition, works independently as a Pharmacist Immuniser when required to support the immunisation workforce. The pharmacist also performs the role of Second-in-Charge in absence of Senior Pharmacist, provides effective orientation to new vaccine clinic employees, and conducts training and accreditation of pharmacy, nursing and emergency workface staff in the preparation of COVID-19 vaccines.
What You Need
• Ability to work a minimum of two shifts per week. • Demonstrated highly developed ability and attitude to be part of a working team. • Demonstrated developed communication and liaison skills. • Demonstrated ability to accept and carry out instructions. • Demonstrated meticulous attention to details.
