This fixed term, part time (0.4 EFT 2 days/week) position works alongside and shares the clinical caseload with another staff member who has returned in a part time capacity from Maternity Leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Dietitian to extend their skills and experience at a Grade 2 level and join the Dietetics team at Peninsula Health. Our dynamic team comprises of Dietitians working in multidisciplinary teams across Acute, Sub-acute, Ambulatory and Residential Aged Care settings.

Key Responsibilities
In this role you will work with the interdisciplinary team to deliver dietetic services to inpatients under a Geriatric Evaluation and Management model of care at our Mornington Centre site. Grade 2 Dietitians also have a leadership role through departmental representation, quality and research activities and involvement in student and staff supervision.

Selection Criteria Essential: Member or eligible for membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia
Essential: Member or eligible for membership of the Accredited Practicing Dietitian Program
Essential: Demonstrated participation in professional development.
Essential: Capability to supervise and mentor students and promote professional competence.
Essential: Ability to exhibit a degree of flexibility and time management with regard to workload and be an effective member of the interdisciplinary team.
Essential: Computer literate and holder of a current Drivers Licence.
Desirable: Experience in GEM / sub acute inpatient care and management
Desirable: Leadership skills.
Desirable: Demonstrated involvement in the development and implementation of quality improvement projects.
