Position Summary
Peninsula Health is seeking a dynamic Director of Management Information Services. Reporting to the Executive Director of Finance, the role will be responsible for the Management Information Services (MIS) team and Business Intelligence services. This team has corporate level responsibility for providing clinical, finance, human resources and performance information to Peninsula Health. The role involves developing the data management lifecycle, managing the collection, organisation, accuracy, structure and storage of data.

Key Responsibilities
• To lead, motivate, coach and mentor the MIS team
• To develop and maintain the Business Intelligence Strategy and Business Intelligence priorities in consultation with the organisation
• Provide expert advice to the Executive, program and department staff on trends and best practice associated with business intelligence
• To provide high level technical skills including data ware house, SQL, reporting services, cubes, and MDx
• To provide high level data and analysis reports to meet the requirements of the organisation
• Oversight clinical costing activities and priorities for the organisation; and
•Provide data to external clients such as the Department of Health and Human Services and Safer Care Victoria.

Essential Criteria
• Relevant Tertiary computing qualifications
• Excellent programming knowledge in T- SQL with SQL Server database administration (DBA) experience
• Experience with Reporting Services for SQL Server 2012, SSIS, Analysis Services and SharePoint
• Demonstrated leadership over a team of developers in a technical area and ability to manage multiple projects
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with business and technology stakeholders and to provide data to meet management requirements
• Health service knowledge covering clinical, financial and operational requirements
• Strong analysis and conceptual abilities.
