Position Summary

Peninsula Health currently has an opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Adult Mental Health team on a full time basis.

Applicants must be registered as a Medical Practitioner in Australia and either be a Fellow of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or be eligible for Fellowship within the next 3 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high quality evidence based clinical care within the designated scope of practice
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by monitoring services and practice
• Lead and manage junior medical staff to achieve optimum outcomes
* Be aware of and work in accordance with organisational policies and procedures

Essential Criteria

• Medical Practitioner Registered in Australia
• Fellowship of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
• Relevant Specialist experience
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the Victorian Mental Health Act 2014
