What You Will Be Doing

We are looking for a Grade 1 Social Worker to join our expanding and innovative department. Social Workers at Peninsula Health are responsible for partnering with our clients and their families/carers to provide the appropriate support, counselling and to engage them and support their health and wellbeing.

Grade 1 Social workers will have the opportunity to participate in our newly developed rotation program across inpatient settings and community health.

What You Will Need

We anticipate you will have:
• You will need to hold a Bachelor Degree or Qualifying Masters in Social Work. Post graduate studies are highly regarded and may be eligible for a higher education allowance
• As a multi-site organisation you may be required to work across sites. You will have access to our extensive pool of fleet cars and will need a Victorian Drivers licence.
• You have experience working in a hospital or related health setting or an interest in transitioning your advanced skills (e. Family Violence, Aged Care, Disability and Case Management) into the health sector
• You are passionate about providing evidence-based practice in collaboration with clients and their families/carers
