Who We Are and What We Stand For


This role sits within the Adult’s National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service at Peninsula Health, based at our Frankston campus. We are a supportive team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech pathologists within Peninsula Health, which is a major metropolitan health service caring for a community of 300,000 people. What You Will Be Doing

This position presents a great opportunity for an early career Speech Pathologist to join our community based team. We deliver supports to people with a disability and are passionate about high quality care and being an employer of choice. Scope of practice includes provision of assessment and intervention for a wide range of communication and swallow disorders and includes communication partner supports, assistive technology prescription and comprehensive, long term interventions.

Frequent clinical supervision is available from our Grade 3 Speech Pathology Clinical Lead, matched to your skills and development goals and a supportive, graded approach is provided on commencement. Work with your clients in their own homes or other community based locations across the Frankston City and the Mornington Peninsula regions. What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Outstanding time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Great teamwork skills as well as the ability to work autonomously
• A Bachelor degree (Hons) or Master of Speech and Language Pathology or Speech Language therapy practice (New graduates welcome to apply)
• Driver's license
• NDIS worker screening check (can apply on acceptance of job offer)
