Position Summary
We currently have an opportunity for person centred and dynamic specialised Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in the Emergency Department (ED) at Frankston Hospital!
Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, the RN works competently within their scope of practice to deliver safe, evidence based, care to achieve optimal health outcomes or a dignified death.

About Our Emergency Department
The Frankston Emergency Department is a dynamic and fast paced environment with a strong emphasis on team work and support. The current Emergency Department opened in February 2015 and has over 70,000 presentations per year, with 20% of these being paediatric. The ED has state of the art resuscitation bays including a class-N negative pressure room. It also has specialised paediatric cubicles with a separated waiting room.
We have dedicated ED educators and provide opportunities for professional development and career growth; from post graduate qualifications to a transition to speciality program, we invest in our employees.

Who are we looking for?
• Committed, forward thinking individuals with excellent clinical skills
• Registered Nurses with current AHPRA registration
• We pride ourselves on our team environment, therefore you must have the ability to collaborate and work well with others
• A Post-Graduate Qualification in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing would be advantageous
