Position Summary

Peninsula Health Mental Health Service is committed to the principles of Recovery- Orientated Practice. We actively support and encourage consumer and carer participation in all aspects of planning and delivery of mental health services.

As an Enrolled Nurse on Ward 2 West (Adult Inpatient Mental Health Unit), you will provide recovery orientated care to inpatient consumers and their families / carers.

Our hard working team are supported by passionate and supportive management, a dedicated Mental Health educator and fantastic team initiatives including the Mental Health Staff Choir!

This is a maternity leave contract for the period 13th January 2020 to 27th July 2020 working 48 hours / fortnight over a 7 day rotating roster.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
• Experience as a Mental Health Nurse
• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the principles of Recovery Orientated practice in Mental Health Care
• Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and standards
