What You Will Be Doing
The Elective Surgery Booking Officer works within the Department of Surgery – Elective Surgery Waiting List Office, which consists of the Elective Surgery Access Manager, Elective Surgery Clinical Coordinators and Booking Officers. The role supports the day to day functioning of the Elective Surgery Waiting List Office, supported by the Elective Surgery Access Manager, and focuses on the ongoing maintenance of the Elective Surgery Waiting List and the accurate updating of patient’s data as per the guidelines of ESIS (Elective Surgery Information Systems).
What You Need
We anticipate you will have: • Demonstrated experience at administrative level • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills including excellent telephone manner • Medical Terminology • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications desirable
