Position Summary

Peninsula Heath currently has limited tenure opportunities for Grade 1 Physiotherapists with a strong possibility of ongoing employment opportunities.

The positions involve rotations through acute, subacute and community health. The successful applicants will receive supervision from experience Physiotherapists to help them build a strong foundation of skills across all clinical areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality, safe and cost effective Physiotherapy services within a multidisciplinary team.
• Build and expand professional skill levels to ensure that clients receive the best possible service reflecting up to date evidence based practice.
• Demonstrate positive workplace behaviours and relationships at all times.
• Provide a high standard of Physiotherapy assessment and management across a broad range of clinical streams including orthopaedic, neurology, cardiorespiratory, aquatic, dementia and falls

Essential Criteria

•Registration with the National Physiotherapy Registration Board (AHPRA)
•Able to competently perform high quality Physiotherapy assessment, treatment and patient management, including thorough and appropriate discharge planning.
•Demonstrated willingness to participate in Professional Development.
•Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
•Interest and/or experience in Quality improvement and research activities.
•Currently holds a WWCC or is in the application process
