Position Summary

The Content and Social Media Specialist is a crucial role in the Communications team in the Corporate Communications and Philanthropy department. The role is critical to ensuring Peninsula Health delivers exceptional and engaging content to grow our impact and influence to help achieve our brand and fundraising objectives.
The position reports to the Head of Communications and will research, write and edit clear, creative, and engaging content for a wide range of high-quality communications that reinforce Peninsula Health’s brand and helps us achieve our goals. The Content and Social Media Specialist will take high-quality photographs, as well as film, produce and edit short videos to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and write creative and targeted content for a range of channels
• Write, schedule and monitor content on social media accounts
• Capture engaging photographs & video for social media and the web

Essential Criteria

• Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant significant career experience
• Demonstrated experience in planning and managing simultaneous projects
• Experience managing corporate social media accounts,
• Proven ability to write and produce engaging content
