What You Will Be Doing
Key responsibilities include: • Application of advanced breast cancer knowledge and skills • Care coordination for people diagnosed with breast cancer • Promotion of interdisciplinary breast care • Patient focused supportive care • Act as a breast cancer resource person • Satisfy the requirements of the McGrath Foundation
What You Need
Our team requires someone who has: • Qualifications in cancer nursing- Breast care qualification or working towards are highly regarded. • Proven experience as a registered nurse working with cancer patients and families/carers. • High-level awareness of applying advanced knowledge of health needs, preferences, and circumstances of women with breast cancer to optimise outcomes across the continuum of care. • Demonstrated knowledge of theory and recent research relevant to the field of breast cancer nursing. • Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented approach.
