Position Summary
The Innovation and Service Improvement lead will assist the mental health program to work on key strategic growth initiatives to ensure the Peninsula Health Mental Health Service remains contemporary and is fit for future focused service delivery. The role reports directly to the Operations Director with a key focus/responsibilities regarding growth, innovation, staff engagement and future planning for contemporary mental health service design. This important role will focus on new developments and initiatives within the Mental Health Service and provide support to the Executive Mental Health Leadership Team, in the implementation of design and innovation to continue to provide a high quality Mental Health Service.

Key Responsibilities
• Work with the leadership team to deliver on future projects such as redeveloping the mental health service in consultation with the facilities team
• Work on key strategies and staff well-being for the engagement of the mental health workforce and ensure these initiatives are embedded across the mental health program
• Work in partnership with other areas such as WHS / IT / RISCE to ensure all future planning for mental health services is best of breed

Essential Criteria
• Project planning skills
• Experience in complex environments
• Experience in mental health service environments
• Degree or relevant qualification such as business or management
