What You Will Be Doing
The Cognitive, Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS) is part of Peninsula Health's Cognition service and is a multidisciplinary team providing a community based diagnostic service within the Rehabilitation, Ageing, Pain and Palliative Care (RAPPS) cluster. Allied Health is an integral part of the Team providing assessment, support, referral and education for people experiencing memory loss or changes to their cognition and their carers.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have: • Current registration as Allied Health professional within the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or eligibility for membership of professional association (for non-registered professions) • Demonstrated experience in assessment of people with a cognitive impairment and knowledge of best practice of the diagnostic process for people with a cognitive impairment • Demonstrated knowledge of aged care, community supports and services • Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member of a Team
