Peninsula Health currently has an opportunity for an experienced and person centred focused Registered Nurse to join our very busy Medical Imaging Team on a fulltime/part time basis. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, the registered nurse will develop and implement clinical practice assisting with Interventional Procedures in Medical Imaging. A background in theatre/catheter lab/radiology would be desired to assist in the scrub/scout of interventional procedures. We also provide on-call, seven days a week and the registered nurse will be rostered to on-call on a fortnightly basis.

Qualifications/experience:
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Completion of a graduate year program.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for consumers.
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experience and scope of practice.
• Supports individuals and the team, delegating responsibilities appropriately.
• Understands the issues and pressures to which the organisation has to respond.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Able to use basic computer software applications.
• Prepares written documentation using clear, concise and grammatically correct language.
• Communicates well with and relates to consumers from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds.

Desirable Criteria
• Able to demonstrate ongoing commitment to professional development.
• Takes responsibility for own actions and is proactive and self-starting.
• Radiology and/or catheter laboratory experience is desired.
