Position Summary Peninsula Health is offering an exciting opportunity to gain Post Graduate Qualifications in Cardiac Nursing. You can choose to study with Deakin or La Trobe, our partnership Universities.
Students are employed on a 64 hour fortnight over a 12 month period. We offer a friendly and supportive clinical learning environment and can assist you with the consolidation of the theoretical and practical elements of the course.
We have two beautiful new units with a state of the art fully integrated cardiac monitoring system shared with ICU and ED. Our Coronary Care Unit has 24 beds and we have 8 beds in our newly opened Rapid Assessment Cardiac Unit. There is an opportunity to work in cardiac aligned areas such as cardio-angiography. We have a 24 hour PCI service and evolving doctor led research with a focus on cardiology.
