Position Summary
Peninsula Health’s Workforce Bureau is looking for skilled, passionate and dynamic Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our devoted team on a casual or limited term basis.

Peninsula Health will not be able to deliver health care services and optimum person centred care to our community without your support.

About our Workforce Bureau
Our team in the Workforce Bureau works with passion to allocate dedicated, reliable and experienced Nurses across 90+ shifts daily, to meet the demands of a multi specialised hospital.

The Workforce Bureau allocates nursing staff to acute health services based across Frankston and Rosebud Hospitals, Rehabilitation, Aged and Palliative Care Services, Mental Health programs, fully integrated inpatient and community based services, and Community Health services.

The team will offer you a range of short notice and pre-planned shifts to support you in designing a roster to suit your ever changing lifestyle. Our team is available 7 days a week working inside and outside business hours to ensure your employment with Peninsula Health is positive and rewarding.

Essential Criteria

• Passion and dedication to work on our Nurse Bank and Pool
• Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with a strong focus on person centred care
• Ability to adapt to changing settings and have the flexibility to be available at short notice
• Relevant qualifications
• Current Nursing registration with AHPRA
• Proven experience in your chosen speciality area (see above list)
• Rights to work in Australia
• Ability to work across all Peninsula Health Sites
• Availability to work in accordance with a 7 day rotating roster
• Availability to work minimum 1 shift per month (for casual arrangements)

Any offer of employment will be confirmed on the successful outcome of a Police Check, Working with Children’s Check (if applicable to role) and immunisation clearance.

Selection Criteria Essential: Are you a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and completion of a graduate year or equivalent experience ?
Desirable: Can you demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experience and scope of practice in your chosen specialty?
Desirable: Do you have experience in Midwifery?
Desirable: Can you prepares written documentation using clear, concise and grammatically correct language?
Desirable: Are you able to demonstrate ongoing commitment to professional development ?
Desirable: Are you able to identify continuous improvement opportunities for improved patient/consumer outcomes ?
Desirable: Current Victorian Driving Licence as inherent requirement of position is to work across all sites
Desirable: Can you communicate well with and relate to consumers from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds and have an ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team?
Desirable: Are you an Australian Citizen, hold permanent residency status or a valid Working Visa?
Desirable: Are you available for minimum 1 shift per month (or as otherwise agreed between the employer and employee)?
