Position Summary

Peninsula Health is seeking a dynamic Rostering Implementation Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join the Rostering, Time and Attendance Project Team to assist with the implementation of RosterOn across the whole health service.

RosterOn is a Rostering, Time and Attendance (RTA) platform that is being implemented to improve rostering practice, leave management, time capture of employee attendance at work and reduce pay errors and pay queries through electronic rostering, electronic timesheets and automation of many payroll functions. A vacancy management system is also a feature of this important project. The implementation of RosterOn across the Peninsula Health Service will lead to more efficient use of our workforce and reduce payroll errors.
This is a major project that directly impacts all staff working within Peninsula Health and will lead to better use of our human and financial resources. The RTA implementation project commenced in October 2015 and will take 2 years to complete.

Essential Criteria

To be successful in the role, you will possess the following essential criteria:

• Demonstrated knowledge of rostering practices and leave management and how these impact on staffing vacancies and budget performance.
• Sound computing and information technology skills.
• Current drivers licence.

The following criteria are also desirable:

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with electronic rostering to pay systems.
• An understanding of Awards and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements.
• Proven ability to influence and manage change.
• Well developed negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Training qualifications and experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Peninsula Health’s rostering and timesheet workflows and systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Payroll processes.
• Experience working in a health care environment.
