What You Will Be Doing
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) is a valued and integral member of the Peninsula Health multidisciplinary team demonstrating flexibility in caring for patients and their families under the supervision of the RN. The EN works competently within their scope of practice to deliver safe, evidence-based, person-centred care to achieve optimal health outcomes or a dignified death. The Enrolled Nurse Graduate Program is designed to assist the newly qualified EN in the transition from student to confident and effective member of the nursing workforce. Throughout the program the EN Graduate Nurse is expected to deliver nursing care at the level of a beginning practitioner and to meet all the specific requirements of the program.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have: • AHPRA registration as a Enrolled Nurse with qualification to administer oral, topical, S/C, IM and IV medications • Demonstrate commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for consumers • Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experience • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team • Able to use basic computer software applications • Ensure clinical documentation is written/typed using clear, concise and grammatically correct language • Respects the values and beliefs of consumers from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds • Takes responsibility for own actions and is proactive within EN scope of practice

* Please refer to salary circular for NURSES AND MIDWIVES (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2020-2024 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience. This role must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and meet the requirements of the Peninsula Health immunisation policy.
