Position Summary Peninsula Health's Mental Health Service are seeking an innovative and energetic Mental Health Clinician to be part of an expanding mental health service.
The Mental Health Clinician, as a member of the multidisciplinary team, provides timely and responsive mental health assessment and treatment to people who require urgent, short term or ongoing intensive community based mental health assessment, treatment and support. The Clinician works competently within their scope of practice to deliver safe, evidence based person centred care to achieve optimal health outcomes.

About our Adult Intensive Treatment Team The Mornington Adult Intensive Treatment Team provides community based short term treatment interventions for clients 25-64 years.
The team works with the client and their comprehensive assessment and care plan to provide intensive community based short term treatment interventions during an acute phase of illness as an alternative to hospitalisation. This includes frequent reviews by clinicians and specialist medical staff, including Consultant Psychiatrists, treatment provision and planning, liaison and linkage with private providers and primary care.
The team works a 7 day rotating roster, 3 shifts per day 8:30am-5pm , a mid shift and 2pm-10:30pm.
