Fulltime - Fixed Term until 30th June 2019.

Position Summary:
Peninsula Health currently has an opportunity for an experienced social worker to join the Social Work Department on a fixed term basis. This position will be responsible for strengthening Peninsula Health’s capacity to identify and respond to Family Violence. We are looking to recruit a social worker with experience in Family Violence, research and project management skills. The SHRFV Project Coordinator will report to the SHRFV Project Lead, which sits within the governance of the Social Work Department.

Key responsibilities include:
•Support the implementation of the SHRFV project plan to deliver on identified objectives in accordance with timeframes and resources.
•Review existing policy and procedures pertaining to family violence across the lifespan, and identify any policy gaps. These policies are to be updated or developed where required, in consultation with key stakeholders and in line with best practice.
•Develop processes around information management and data collection. Undertake research and data collection activities and analysis for reporting and program improvement.
•Assist in the development and implementation of an evaluation framework of the project and outcomes.
•Facilitate staff training in family violence identification and response as required.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor Degree of Qualifying Masters in Social Work (eligible for registration with AASW)
Current Victorian Drivers Licence
Social Work experience in a hospital or related health setting
Project management skills
