Position Summary
An exciting opportunity exists for a Family Violence Service Worker (Safety Contact) to work within the Family Violence Community Health team. This is a full time temporary position located in Frankston. Staff may be required to work across other Community Health sites to meet program needs.
Applications are sought from experienced counsellors who have an appropriate tertiary qualification. Knowledge of, and experience in, family violence is essential.

| Selection Criteria |
Essential: Relevant qualification in Social Work, welfare studies, social sciences, community development or other relevant discipline Essential: Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as member of a high-functioning multi-disciplinary team Essential: Current Victorian drivers licence, Working with Children Check and a satisfactory police check Essential: Familiarity with the key underpinning legislation including the Privacy Act, Health Records Act, Children, Youth and Family Act, Family Violence Act Essential: Familiarity with the key recommendations of the Royal Commission into Family Violence. |
