Position Summary
An opportunity exists for experienced Support Services Assistants to join our Support Services Team on a casual basis.
The Support Services Assistant is an integral and valued member of the wider Support Services team. This is a multi-skilled role accountable for the provision of;
• Inpatient food services ,ensuring compliance to the Food Safety Standards. • Contributing to a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and staff in accordance with the Victorian Cleaning Standards for pubic hospitals. • Waste collection across various waste streams - including soiled linen, general waste, clinical waste etc. • Orderly/porterage/ and courier functions within a hospital environment.

• Understanding of infection control practices applicable to cleaning. • Previous experience in an Healthcare environment would be advantageous. • Must be able to take direction. • Someone who can complete tasks unsupervised. • Can do attitude and good work ethic • Team player
