What You Will Be Doing
The IT Infrastructure Engineer functions as a professional specialist with responsibility for a unique information technology specialty area – Cloud services and technologies. Plan, design, implement, support and maintain IT Infrastructure alongside a team of IT Infrastructure Engineers responsible for the delivery and management of reliable and secure IT infrastructure for Cloud, Server, Storage, Backup and Recoverability services within the organisation. Be part of the team that is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the data centre and ensure that service levels for performance, availability and support are achieved. This position works closely with other Infrastructure team staff and IT teams to enable timely resolution of support requests. Effective communication with an organised, client focused, service delivery excellence orientation is critical to the success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions that adhere to current architecture standards in order to support the systems and services used by the organisation • Provide level 3 technical support for day to day operations • Be the technical expert for incidents, problems, service request and change requests • Troubleshoot, identify and resolve technical infrastructure issues • Professionally represent the infrastructure team as a technical consultant on projects
Essential Criteria
• Demonstrated experience designing, deploying and supporting Microsoft 365 and Office 365 Technologies • Demonstrated experience designing, deploying and supporting Exchange 2016 and Office 365 Exchange Online • Demonstrated experience designing, deploying and supporting Microsoft Azure services • Demonstrated experience implementing Cyber Security practices for Cloud service providers • Demonstrated experience with cloud service transformation/migration projects • Demonstrated experience implementing services via cloud based managed service providers • Experience working in an ITIL based service delivery environment
