What You Will Be Doing
The Critical Care Liaison Nurse (CCLN) service provides clinical leadership for nursing, medical and allied health staff using an evidence based practice model. This support includes advanced patient assessment, diagnosis and therapeutic interventions within your scope of practice. The CCLN patient cohort consists of ICU discharges, Rapid Response Calls and direct referrals.
The CCLN service is looking for experienced critical care trained nurses for a temporary 6 month contract to cover from 0.4-1.0 EFT, to work as a Clinical Nurse Consultant within the team. The CCLN team provide service coverage 7 days a week, 24 hours a day in 3 shifts: AM 8hrs /PM 8hrs /ND10hrs . The successful applicants would be expected to work across all shifts including night duty.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have: • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration • Post Graduate Critical Care Qualification in Intensive Care or Critical Care • Recent post graduate experience in a critical care area – ICU,ED, CCU
