Position Summary
The Support Services Supervisor provides leadership to and is accountable for the Support Services function at Frankston Hospital. The Supervisor has responsibility for the day-to-day operational and professional management of Support Services areas including: Cleaning and Food Safety standards, Waste Management.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and develop a team in a dynamic environment to ensure that patient centred care needs are met.
• Be responsible for ensuring services of staff and resources are managed efficiently and effectively.

Essential Criteria
• Certificate II in Food Safety and food safety supervisors certificate
• Has good clear communication skills and is able to prepare letters, emails and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language.
• Builds a cohesive team with clarity around goals and accountabilities.
• Identifies and responds to stakeholders underlying needs and actively promotes and manages change.
• Regularly plans and tracks progress on work tasks by taking responsibility for corrective action and promptly looks for continuous improvement
• Clearly defines role expectations, monitors performance, provides timely and constructive feedback and facilitates employee development
