Peninsula Health is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to take up the role of Director of Support Services based at Frankston Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a large non-clinical workforce and will oversee a range of outsourced services including security services, waste management, linen services and other commercial contracts including cafes and car parking.

The role requires strong commercial and analytical skills combined with excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate should be able to plan, organise, and prioritise their work in order to meet targets and strict deadlines whilst providing timely and accurate information to all stakeholders.

The position requires the individual to develop effective working relationships at multiple levels including the executive, clinical areas and their individual teams.

Key responsibilities include:
• Ensure sound employee relations, policy and legislative compliance
• Ensure KPI and Performance Measure regimes are met or exceeded
• Deliver operationally efficient services within allocated budgets
• Benchmark key services against other health services on a regular basis
• Maintain high levels of quality and customer satisfaction
• Maintain a strong focus on staff and patient safety
• Providing high quality services and a culture of continuous improvement
