About Peninsula Health Peninsula Health provides public healthcare services to residents of the Mornington Peninsula.
Our hospitals and emergency departments are located at Frankston and Rosebud, and we provide a wide range of community health, dental, rehabilitation, mental health, palliative care ad aged care services from campuses at Frankston, Hastings, Mornington and Rosebud.

The Grade 2 Occupational therapists and Physiotherapists in Hand Therapy require expertise in Plastics / Upper limb interventions for an acute and chronic caseload in clinic and outpatient settings. This role may provide supervision to a grade 1 (0.5 EFT) occupational therapist, Allied Health Assistant and OT students as required. The role directly reports to the Senior Clinician in Hand therapy and the Head of Occupational Therapy.
Key Responsibilities • Clinical service in the area of Hand Therapy - ensuring provision of safe and effective care to patients within the service. • Coordinate and participate in relevant quality improvement activities • Maintain up to date professional development • Demonstrate positive workplace behaviours and relationships at all times
Essential Criteria • Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (via AHPRA). • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence. • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the management of acute and chronic Plastics and Upper Limb conditions. • Demonstrated competency in all aspects of splinting and wound care. • Organised and methodical approach to work and has clear objectives and priorities. • Ability to supervise other staff to promote professional competence and foster individual staff development. • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and participate in activities to improve outcomes, quality and timeliness of service. • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. • Keeps up to date with professional development and seeks the expertise and advice of others.
