The position would be suited to either a paediatric endocrinologist with interest in diabetes or a general paediatrician with interest in diabetes.
The position is predominantly for provision of ambulatory care of children with diabetes. However the role is expanding to include supervision of in-patient care for either newly diagnosed patients or patients requiring stabilisation.
The position would be for 3-4 sessions each week.
