Position Summary
An exciting opportunity exists for sonographers to join Peninsula Health the leading public diagnostic imaging provider on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, on a permanent full time or part time basis. We are committed to delivering prompt and professional care to both patients and referrers and pride ourselves on providing professional development and support to all our staff.
This role is suitable for a sonographer with a broad range of skills to suit a varied case load who wishes to work with a friendly and professional team of sonographers and onsite consultant radiologists; sonographers with advanced skills in obstetric ultrasound will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
• To produce a high quality diagnostic medical service images as directed by the Operations Director in conjunction with modality supervisors.
• Assist the modality Supervisors to manage and coordinate workflow and assist in quality and administrative requirements of the department.
• Assist and mentor other team members and clinical staff in the provision of all medical imaging services.
• Undertake management duties and deputise for other senior MIT’s and managers as required

Essential Criteria
• Degree/Diploma in Medical Imaging
• MRPB Registration/DoH Use Licence
• MIT - Eligible for a Statement of Accreditation
• Excellent Communication Skills
• ASAR membership or eligibility for registration with the ASAR. and formal qualifications
• Demonstrably high levels of patient care.
• AHPRA Registration
