Peninsula Health provides public healthcare services to residents of the Mornington Peninsula.

Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Grade 1 Dietitian to join a dynamic and experienced Dietetic Team at Peninsula Health. The successful applicant will hold a dedicated clinical caseload at Frankston Hospital. Previous clinical experience in the acute setting is desired. We may also use this pool of applicants to recruit to our casual bank.

The successful applicant will also be expected to participate in quality improvement activities and undertake participation in the ‘buddy program’. The Nutrition and Dietetics Department at Peninsula Health is unique in facilitating a ‘buddy program’ whereby Dietitians are paired with Grade 2/3 specialist Dietitians to undergo skill development in specific clinical areas.

The Nutrition and Dietetics team at Peninsula Health is comprised of over 20 EFT working in multidisciplinary teams across the acute, subacute and ambulatory settings.


Essential Criteria

Qualifications/experience
• Member, or eligible for membership of Dietitians Association of AustraliaMember, or eligible for membership of the Accredited Practicing Dietitian Program
• Demonstrated participation in Professional Development
• Commitment to accuracy of record keeping & reporting in the medical record
• Computer literate
• Current driver's license
• Ability to work as a part of a team
