Position Summary We are seeking an innovative Speech Pathologist - Senior Subacute Clinician (Grade 3) to join our team. This position offers rotation across two subacute sites incorporating aged care and rehabilitation and innovation in service delivery.
The successful candidate will model an enquiring approach to clinical challenges and engage teams to generate new and different ideas and solutions. Expert, evidence based clinical care will underpin all aspects of this leadership position.
This is a 12 month limited term position due to commence in October 2017. The position is 64 hours per fortnight (worked over 4-5 days per week).
Key Responsibilities • Lead the speech pathology team in the provision of optimal subacute services. • Report on Key Performance Indicators to the Head of Speech Pathology and communicate with key stakeholders. • Provide expert, evidence based clinical services within the multidisciplinary team and associated education, liaison and modelling for staff. • Co-ordinate and participate in relevant quality and service improvement activities and research. • Demonstrate positive workplace behaviours. • Demonstrate clear and effective communication. • Establish and maintain effective professional relationships.
