What You Will Be Doing

This temporary position is available to cover a period of leave. Working one session a week (4.5 hours), you will contribute to improving communication processes at Peninsula Health.

Supported by our GP Liaison Officer, you are responsible for responding to GP enquiries and providing a GP perspective on written communications (to GPs), as well as the information that is uploaded to the Peninsula Health GP Liaison Unit webpages. You will also be asked to participate in the Shared Maternity Care Program and other committees where appropriate.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Medical Practitioner Registered in Australia.
• Specialist registration and experience in General Practice.
• Minimum 5 years GP experience.
• Sound clinical knowledge, skills and experience in contemporary medical and evidence based practice.
• Leadership and management skills (desirable)
• Project management experience and skills. (desirable)
