Peninsula Health is providing an opportunity for an accomplished Senior Executive Assistant to directly support the Chief Executive and Board of Directors for a 12 month maternity leave position.
The position is responsible for providing high level secretarial support and ensuring the day - to - day functioning of the office, is well organised and resources are managed efficiently. The core responsibilities of this role are as follows:
•Ensure professional, efficient management and co-ordination of all administrative functions for the office of the Chief Executive •Support the Board to achieve the highest standards of governance •Liaison between Board of Directors and the organisation •Ensure complete and accurate content of all governance and Board records, coordinating and preparing for all Board and Board subcommittee meetings.
To be successful in the role, you will possess the following essential criteria:
•Proven experience working for a Chief Executive of a large organisation (5000+ staff) •Experience managing complex schedules, with the ability to exercise judgement around prioritisation •High level verbal and written communication skills including experience developing a range of Board reports and correspondence •A high level of diplomacy and discretion in dealing with confidential information •Well developed and accurate note taking, word processing and data entry skills •Sound knowledge of meeting procedures and ability to take Board minutes •Demonstrated ability to autonomously manage varied and conflicting demands to deliver agreed outcomes
