What You Will Be Doing
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team working across our Hospital in the Home and Infusion Centre. This is a fixed term position for 6 shifts a fortnight, working a 7 day rotating roster.
The Hospital in the Home Registered Nurse works in either the patients home, residential care facility or other community setting as a sole practitioner to maintain the continuum of acute inpatient care. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role co-ordinates and provides an expert clinical service at an advanced level, in line with relevant standards, guidelines and policies of Peninsula Health.
The Infusion Centre delivers a range of same day services such as blood and iron infusions, medication infusions, minor procedures and trialing of void.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have: • Current Registration with AHPRA • Venepuncture skills and IV cannulation accreditation • Completion of a Central Venous Access Device recognized course • Able to use basic computer software applications.
