Who We Are and What We Stand For

Peninsula Health is the major metropolitan health service caring for a community of 300,000 people. Our Vision is to provide exceptional health and community care. To realise this vision we need people who strive for a sense of achievement, take an interest in their individual growth, enjoy innovation and looking for ways to improve and have a passion for communicating and connecting with others.

In representing Peninsula Health, we expect all employees and volunteers to reflect our values: Be the Best, Be a Role Model, Be Open and Honest, Be Compassionate and Respectful and Be Collaborative. We are One Peninsula Health.

What You Will Be Doing

The implementation facilitator will play a key role in the feasibility trial of an externally (MRFF) funded research project being conducted by senior researchers within the Academic Unit at Peninsula Health. The primary objective of the project is to develop and test a digital health solution for summarising and sharing an agreed set of data considered critical during the medical transfer of Aged Care residents. The implementation facilitator will support 6 sites (4 aged care homes, ambulance and hospital) for the duration of the trial, helping them navigate implementation challenges and collecting qualitative data on their experiences.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Undergraduate qualification in a relevant health or research related profession.
• Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, implementation, training or facilitation.
• Demonstrated experience in research projects, including following ethical requirements and protocols, recruiting participants, and collecting and managing research data.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and work collaboratively with stakeholders including healthcare clinicians, consumers, family carers, government and funding bodies, private companies and senior management.
