The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) presents an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Anaesthetics and Recovery nurse.

• This unique opportunity exists within the Surgical Services Suite- Theatre
• Frankston, Mornington Peninsula & surrounding locations
• Salary Packaging Available
• Classification: Grade 2 RN ANUM Year 1 - Year 2 (YW11 - YW12) *

What You Will Be Doing

The successful applicants will become an integral part of the Surgery and Operating Suite Management team. They will demonstrate a high level of perioperative nursing experience, effective leadership skills, management experience, and possess the ability to influence the Anaesthetics and Recovery team.

A component of the ANUM role is an expectation to undertake a share of floor management shifts and thus an understanding of the overall perioperative environment is also required.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 3 years post graduate experience in Perioperative nursing
• Proven Anaesthetics and Recovery Clinical Experience
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills
• Knowledge and commitment to quality improvement principles
• Polite and considerate in dealing with others.
• Accepts responsibilities for own actions.
• Supports individuals and the team, delegating responsibilities appropriately.
• Understands the issues and pressures to which the organisation has to respond.
• Prepares written documentation using clear, concise and grammatically correct
language.
• Ability to work with and Lead a multi-disciplinary team

*Please refer to salary circular for NURSES AND MIDWIVES (VICTORIAN PUBLIC HEALTH SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2020 - 2024 for Salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.

Selection Criteria Essential: Registered Nurse with Current AHPRA Registration
