Position Summary
Peninsula Health's Mental Health Service are seeking innovative and energetic Peer Support Workers to be part of our Aged Persons Community Intensive Treatment Team which is a part of an expanding mental health service on a permanent part time basis.
The Consumer Peer Worker and Carer Peer Worker will use their lived experience to provide individualised support to consumers or carers with the goal of recovery, modeling hope for recovery, and encouraging self-awareness by exploring an individual’s meaning of their experience.

About our Aged Persons Community Intensive Treatment Team
APCITT conducts face-to-face comprehensive assessments which include addressing the needs of the carer/family, providing brief intervention, subsequent referral and integrated planning strategies to both Peninsula Health Mental Health Service activities and external service providers.
The team works a 7 day rotating roster, 1 shift per day 8:30am-5pm.
