What You Will Be Doing

With the release of the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System Final Report we are proud to be expanding our team to better meet the needs of the community. This is the perfect opportunity to join Peninsula Health and be at the forefront during this exciting time of change and collaboration!

The Peninsula Health Mental Health Service includes our Adult and Aged Services, Frankston and Mornington Community Services, Access and Assessment Team AAT (CATT), Mental Health Consultation Liaison (ECATT), Intensive Treatment Team (ITT), Intensive Recovery Team (IRT), Crisis Hub and specialist Aged and Youth Community Mental Health teams. Our staff are highly valued and supported with strong leadership and access to training and professional development. Peninsula Health Mental Health Service are proudly the state-wide project lead for clinical supervision for nurses.

Your role may include providing mental health assessment, treatment and support to clients and working closely with families and carers involving them in goal setting and care and discharge planning.

We have a variety of roles throughout our Mental Health Services (Community, Adult, Youth & Aged) including Nursing, Senior Mental Health Clinicians, Mental Health Clinicians and Case Managers. What You Will Be Doing

• Monday – Friday positions as well as 7 day rostered positions available with part time or full time hours to suit your lifestyle.
• Based in South-East Victoria on the gorgeous Mornington Peninsula
• Salary Range of $80,000 to $110,000 per annum (full time) dependent on your qualification and experience plus super and excellent salary packaging benefits to increase your take home pay!

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Registration as a Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Clinical Psychologist
• Extensive experience in the mental health field including acute inpatient services or community mental health care.
• Proven ability in the management of clients with a major mental illness and in the techniques of assessment, crisis intervention, counselling and psychosocial rehabilitation
