What You Will Be Doing
The Head of Unit, Persistent Pain Services is appointed to provide leadership in the delivery and development of persistent pain services across all sites, and to support and assist the Clinical Director, Rehabilitation, Aged, Pain & Palliative Care at Peninsula Health in the provision of high-quality services. The position carries clinical responsibilities for Outpatient Clinics, Inpatient consultations and Interventional procedures as appropriate as the lead Clinician. The HOU will be encouraged to develop future registrar/fellow training capability within the Faculty of Pain Medicine, and academic research opportunities in conjunction with Monash University.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• MBBS or equivalent registration with AHPRA • Specialist qualifications including FFPMANZCA or equivalent • Significant experience in leading the delivery of multidisciplinary chronic pain services • Proven ability to manage at a department manager level. • Demonstrated ability in taking responsibility for clinical and financial performance targets • Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal relationship building skills • Proven ability to implement change within a complex environment.
