What You Will Be Doing
Utilising your knowledge and skills in child development, you will work with young children and their families to seek to attend to their goals. Evidence based practices including socio-emotional and behavioural strategies will guide your interventions, and child safety, wellbeing and development is paramount to your practice. This role works within a large, multidisciplinary team in the Community Health Children's Services Program area. The culture is warm and supportive, adaptable, and is committed to professional development and quality improvement.
This position is suitable for a candidate wishing to work full-time or part-time Full-time: 80 hours per fortnight with a monthly ADO Part-time (0.8 - 0.9 EFT) 60.8 - 68.4 hours per fortnight.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have: • Social Worker - Qualification in Social Work (eligible for membership of AASW) • Psychologist - Qualification in Psychology and Registration with AHPRA • Skills and experience in the assessment of children and in delivering child and family focussed interventions • A current Victorian employee 'Working with Children Check' and Drivers Licence
