What You Will Be Doing

Under direction, the Registrar reviews the general medical needs of patients and provides appropriate care and services to secure optimum health outcomes. The Registrar also has a vital role in teaching and supporting Resident Medical Officers and Interns.

What You Need:

We anticipate you will have:
• General Registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA
• Relevant experience in clinical management
• Be a trainee member of the RANZCP or have a strong interest in Psychiatry>

We anticipate you will:

• be a trainee member of the RANZCP and progressing through training requirements of the College.
• MB BS or equivalent.
• General, Limited or Provisional Registration as a Medical Practitioner.
• Relevant experience in clinical management.
• Sound clinical knowledge, skills and experience in contemporary medical and evidence-based practice.
• Ability to work as an effective member of an inter disciplinary team.
• Teaching skills (desirable).

*Please refer to salary circular for DOCTORS IN TRAINING (VICTORIAN PUBLIC HEALTH SECTOR) (AMA VICTORIA/ASMOF) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2022-2026 & MEDICAL SPECIALISTS (VICTORIAN PUBLIC HEALTH SECTOR) (AMA VICTORIA/ASMOF) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2022-2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
